About Us                                 We are a BYO Drinks Club!!!

Inaugural Run:     16 July 1980 at the Salisbury Hotel.

The Club:
Our club is a member of the International Hash House Harriers Running Group. We are based in Brisbane Australia and run mainly on the South-Eastern side of Brisbane.   Hash is a non profit organisation and any profits are returned to its members.

Us: 
We are a great mixed Adult Hash with ages ranging from 20's to 70+ and we are a friendly fun Club!

What we do:
We meet on a Wednesday night at 6:15 pm for a 6:30 pm start. We run~walk for about an hour before we return to drink, eat, and laugh. We are noisy and lively.  Dress is informal running gear.  (Joggers, T-shirt, etc). 

Costs:
Run: $10 non-members, $7 members (includes a modest meal)
$2 for a pub run when you buy your own nosh. (food)

Membership:
Subs are now $30. It can be paid by bank transfer or in cash, direct to Hash Cash. See Members info page for how to make a bank transfer to Halfway's account.

What to bring:
BYO Drinks, a TORCH, PLATE, EATING IRONS, CUPS, some CASH for Nosh/Purchases and a Stubby Cooler/wine glass.  Most importantly, bring a SENSE of HUMOUR. 

Please bring some EXTRA COINS as the committees will be running RANDOM RAFFLES throughout the year.

Monthly Draws:

The GM has decided to award a gift certificate and the winner will be drawn at the last run of each month. The winner needs to be present at the run, or else the GM will keep drawing names until a winner is found. The gift certificate will award you one free run which you can use it any time before Changeover. The more you attend the runs in each month, the greater chance you’re likely to win the prize! 

Notice:  Halfway Hash is a Bring Your Own Drinks club.  

We are a COVID SAFE Club.  For the protection of our members and guests and we ask that participants adhere to all current government restrictions.  Please do not attend if you are unwell or have symptoms.
